Vendor Partnership Agreement between Homeschool New York and Seton Testing Services:

Seton Testing Services will provide a 10% discount to families ordering assessments through Homeschool New York for the length of this agreement.

The terms and conditions of this agreement are effective from March 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023.

General Ordering:

Online and paper/pencil assessment ordering is based on norming periods.

Online Ordering:

Create an account with Seton Testing Services. After setting up your account, choose your dates and type of test from the following assessments:

Follow the Ordering Instructions.

Homeschool New York’s vendor coupon code is located in The Homeschool New York Minute emails.

Phone Ordering:

Call Seton Testing Services (800-542-1066), identify yourself as a Homeschool New York member, and provide the coupon code (located in the Homeschool New York Minute emails) when ordering to be included in the group report.

Individual Results Delegation:

Student results will be delegated to NHERI.

Norm Periods:

Seton Testing Services is interested in testing during the following norm periods:

Spring Norms (March 1 – July 31)

Fall Norms (August 1 – November 30)

Midyear Norms (December 1 – February 28/29

Vendor Online Assessment Specifications:

Online assessments must be purchased at least 5 business days before the assessment date.

Online assessment prices are the current prices at the time of order submission.

Test Administrator: Seton Testing Services will provide Test Administrators for online assessments.

Accommodations: Accommodations will be offered as stated by the assessment’s publisher.

Online Test Cancellation: Seton Testing Services will make the assessment cancellation policy clear to the purchaser at the time of purchase.

Remote Proctor: Seton Testing Services will make the on-site proctor policy clear to the purchaser at the time of purchase.

Paper/Pencil Assessments:

Timeline: Test dates (postmarked) March 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023:

Paper/pencil assessments must be purchased at least 21 days before the assessment date.

Paper/pencil assessment prices are the current prices at the time of order submission.

The purchaser must place all orders for paper/pencil assessments through the link or coupon code provided by Seton Testing Services (located in The Homeschool New York Minute emails).

Test Administrator: Seton Testing Services will make clear to the purchaser the test administrator requirements prior to purchase.

Accommodations: Accommodations used must meet the publisher’s guidelines. All accommodations must be documented.

Reports:

Seton Testing Services will generate and provide to NHERI the following reports:

1. Student

a. Student Identification number

b. Individual Performance Profile

c. NPR for

i. Total Reading

ii. Total Language

iii. Total Mathematics

iv. Social Studies

v. Science

d. Timeline for Reports

i. Seton Testing Services will send all necessary data to NHERI at the end of each norming period.

Upon purchasing your assessments, you will receive an email with a 10-digit ID number for each child you purchased a test for. To participate in the AAS, simply use those ID numbers to respond to this 5-10 minute survey. Only one survey is needed per family (up to 7 kids)! NOTE: You MUST take the survey BEFORE testing. Surveys returned after testing will not be included in the study.

Testing dates begin March 1st and must be submitted by August 31st.
