Educating Biblically and Civic-Minded Students

“Cairn University exists to educate students to serve Christ in the church, society, and the world as biblically minded, well-educated, and professionally competent men and women of character.” What does that look like in the day-to-day of Cairn community life? Our PPH program has taken the initiative to further its own goals of the program to train students in the liberal arts to discern and be an advocate for real, objective truth.

Through a partnership with the John Jay Institute, Cairn University’s PPH program has initiated a series of lectures that engage students’ critical thinking skills. Our second lecture will focus on “Whose Right? Grotius and the Origin of Rights in International Affairs.” This lecture will align closely with Columbus Day with the goal for students to expand their classroom knowledge and suppositions.

If you, your students, or other families you know would like to join us for this or any upcoming lectures, we encourage you to learn more about the program at cairn.edu/homeschool.
