See Houghton for yourself, and earn a visit scholarship!

Admitted students who visit Houghton’s scenic 1,300 acre campus during the month of November will earn a $1,000 visit scholarship*! Tour campus with one of our student tour guides, meet with faculty in your major of interest, eat a meal in our dining hall, and join with our campus community in a time of worship at Chapel.

How it works:

  1. Apply for Admission to Houghton
  2. Get Admitted
  3. Register for one of our November visit opportunities (Personalized Visit, Highlander Open House, Saturday Visit)
  4. List “LEAH Homeschool Visitor” in the box on your visit registration titled “Is there anything else we should know about your time on campus?”
  5. Visit campus on your registered date, during the month of November!*
  6. Receive your $1,000 visit scholarship when you enroll at Houghton in Fall 2026, every year for the next four years ($4,000 in total)

*this must be your first official visit to Houghton University

Membership in LEAH is through a local chapter. A LEAH Chapter typically provides opportunities to meet with experienced home educators, field trips, athletic activities, and various other events.
