The DCMP provides services designed to support and improve the academic achievement of students who are blind, visually impaired, deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf-blind. The Library: Free-loan described and captioned educational media is available to students who are deaf, blind, hard of hearing, visually impaired, or deaf-blind. This educational media is made accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing via captioning and to the blind and visually impaired via description. With over 4,000 titles (and growing!) available for viewing, the DCMP is continuing to provide equal accessibility to these students and the professionals who serve them.

Heritage Defense is recommended for families with children with special needs and medical issues as HSLDA does not commit to assisting beyond initial contacts with CPS. For child protective services (CPS) matters related to medical decisions, child discipline, and other non-homeschooling issues, Heritage Defense covers even non-homeschooling CPS matters for the whole case, including representation in court.
Home School Legal Defense – Legal defense is limited to homeschooling. HSLDA does not cover school district special education service related disputes.
