The opinions expressed by contributors within The Messenger are those of the authors, not necessarily those of LEAH. Please note that nothing in this publication should be construed as legal advice. LEAH members, this is YOUR newsletter. Please send your articles, letters, photos, events, and ideas to share with your fellow homeschoolers across NY. Submissions should be sent electronically, if possible, to the Editor.

If you wish your material returned, please include an appropriate-size self-addressed, stamped-envelope (SASE). LEAH cannot be responsible for the return of submitted material or photos without a SASE.

Submission Deadlines By Issue (Mailing Dates are approximately 1 month later) :
1st Quarter (Summer/Back to School): July 15
2nd Quarter (Fall/Holiday): September 30
3rd Quarter (Winter/Downstate Convention): January 5
4th Quarter (Spring/Upstate Conference): March 27

Advertising
You are invited to advertise your products or services in our quarterly newsletter, The Messenger. This popular publication is mailed to the homes of our 3,200 member homeschooling families across New York, and contains articles of interest and encouragement to New York’s homeschoolers.

The Messenger exists solely to advance homeschooling and to further the educational goals of homeschooling families by providing encouragement, support, and resources. We gladly accept advertisements that support these goals. Advertisements not directly related to homeschooling, but of possible interest to homeschooling families, are accepted upon review. We reserve the right to refuse any advertisement without comment or explanation. Advertising with LEAH does not express or imply an endorsement of products or services.
