John G. Elliott is a man dedicated to the Kingdom of God. He uses his gifts of songwriting, music composition, worship leading and teaching for that purpose. He believes his highest call is to his family.
John has been the recipient of a Dove Award for producing the Worship Album of the year (1991). He has been nominated for eight other Dove Awards as a producer, arranger and songwriter. The Steinway & Sons Piano Company endorsed John in 2004 and welcomed him to their International Roster of concert & recording artists. His songs appear in the hymnals and have been recorded by such artists as Ricky Skaggs, Steve Green, Sandi Patti, Pat Boone, Truth, First Call and many others. He has co-written songs with Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Paul Overstreet and Bill & Gloria Gaither. He participated in a recording with Max Lucado for his song God Came Near.
John appeared on ABC television in 1998 in a special that honored the life of Dr. Billy Graham. His musical performances and ministry have taken him to over twenty-five countries and most of the United States. He has chaired panels and spoken on the subject of songwriting for ASCAP and the Gospel Music Association. He has produced ten CDs of both instrumental and vocal music and one DVD in which he shares his testimony of God's faithfulness.
John has experienced increasing demand as a speaker and teacher. His passion is to impart the knowledge of God and His Kingdom to young people.
